DONE DONE DONE DONE!

As of yesterday,

I AM DONE WITH CLASSES AND FINALS!

FIRST SEMESTER OF MY SENIOR YEAR IS OFFICIALLY OVER!

I took that joyous day and celebrated by planning my next trip and made my special buddy give me a strip-tease. Words can not describe how hilarious this was. What can you really expect from a scrawny, awkward Scandanavian dancing to "Pony" by Genuwine? HAHA.

Anyways! I've mentioned before that I hated going to the beach, but now I actually really like it. Its relaxing, and its just nice. Martin took me to Dudley Beach the other day, taught me how to drive stick, and we went to Grill'd. Yum! Just want to point out that I'm not too bad at driving manual. Haha. Too bad it was a windy and cloudy day.

Today he took me to... Ok so in Newcastle, there's Nobbies Beach, then you walk South? along the beach and you get to Newcastle Beach, a bit more and you hit Bar Beach, this would be the beach after Bar Beach. Forgot the name. Haha

Anyways, the day was still windy, but a little sunnier. We took a little swim and watch surfers do their thing since Martin's surf board was broken. AHH! I don't think I've ever been so jealous of an athlete! After that surf lesson in Surfer's Paradise, I've been dying to try again. But money will forever be an issue for me. :( We saw this one surfer, he was amazing, doing turns and what not on his board... Then he walked past us, and we realized that he was probably about 13 years old... What am I doing with my life?!

Now when I get upset, I look at this picture. Lawls.

He'll kill me if he ever sees this.

Halloween, the Sluttiest Time of the Year

Halloween in Australia!

I thought Halloween would be a big thing here since the Australians I have met seem to have a thing for themed parties. I think the last big one on campus was the Around the World Party early last month where everyone went dressed up as another culture.

As always, its a reason to party. Bar On the Hill had a Halloween party and we finally got to celebrate something that I was used to celebrating in the states.

On another note, I had a bad night before, trying hard to stay awake at 5 am messed up my brain and I said something I shouldn't have said that made me sound vulnerable to him, that he was worth rethinking my reservations for a long distance thing. AHH! This surprised him. -_- I don't know why. Its been like three months and he did not even know how I felt about him. Guys are so stupid sometimes.

So I used this day to ignore him, and have fun without him, very mature of me, I know. But surprisingly, he wanted to be with me. Wow. Don't know what to think now. I was too inebriated when he told me a joke, which didn't help because I believed it, which made him really mad at me. Haha.

It changed completely when he said, "Oh well, it doesn't matter because you like me." and I blurted out, "I don't even think I like you, I think I'm used to you." Wow. I am a bitch. I guess I'm still scared to show him how I really feel... But how do I really feel?! I'm still conflicted at this point with him.

Is it even worth it to try something?

If it is, I would have to initiate...

I'm sick of always initiating.

Angel(a)'s Week in Newcastle

As this week was extremely eventful and I am getting lazier by the day, I'm just going to list what happened this week. Haha.

10/17 Cheryl's Birthday Dinner and Dennis breaks his femur, the largest and most difficult bone in his body, by tripping over himself and I spend the night in the hospital with him looking like the biggest slut in the world.

10/19 Circus Theme Block Lock In. If you don't know what a lock in is, its when you're locked in your block to drink all day.

This was also Paul's birthday! Even though he was not from our block he came over and I presented him his cake, and while he moved closer to the cake, I smashed it into his face. Then, all chaos ensued. Girls, including me, were being picked up and thrown in the shower to get covered with body wash and Angel(a) almost lost a toe. Haha. I was covered with soap and chocolate cake, and decided to get payback by rolling all over Kyle's bed. MUahaha! So much went on, so many nudie runs, so many funnels, so much goon.... Then after we cleaned up, went to celebrate Paul's birthday. The night ends with the beginning of Angel(a)'s three night fail. HAHA.

The next few days were filled with food and visiting Den Den at the hospital. Angel(a) wanted crepes. I made omelets everyday and introduced everyone to butter beef and hot pot. YUM! Craving satisfied. Been SOOO long since I've had this! Then the funniest, yet kind of disappointing thing happened. Martin, Angel(a), Grace, and I discover an unlikely pair, but I KNEW IT! I SOO KNEW IT!!! Haha.

A little annoying with all these inside jokes, but you gotta believe me, they were hilarious!

10/23 Graffiti Party! We all wore white and wrote on each other's shirts! Kyle, Angel(a) and I started this night Faith-hilling after watching an old episode of South Park. Haha. The night was to announce the superlatives, which means the end of the semester is getting closer. :( But we put that aside and had fun! I got a lot of loving attention this night. I liked it. :) But I didn't like becoming a meme. -_- (I won't show you that picture. I will save what little I have left of my dignity.

14 October 2012

He looks like Asian Jesus.

These last few weeks have been crazy. One event right after another! Angel(a) won us tickets to Durex's You+1 Cruise, so I decided to spend Sunday night in Sydney. I was so excited for this; my first party cruise, and to hopefully get free condoms! Free is always the best.

Just to let you know though, I did not know that Steve Aioki was the guest of honor and this cruise was the final stop on his Australia tour. I actually didn't know who he was. I'm not a house music kind of person.

We got to Darling Harbour around 4:30 pm to sign in. This process was painfully long, but hey, that's what we get for winning a contest; you gotta wait in line with all the other people that didn't pay.

The ship had three floors with two of them bumping music from opening dj acts and made its way to Sydney Harbour and back, so I saw a few things I've seen before, like the bridge and opera house. The cruise started around 5:30 pm... and I was definitely not drunk enough for that kind of music and we were way too overdressed. I honestly have only been to one rave before and that was at Umass in April, which I was also overdressed for. I thought it would be like the club, but nope. These things are pretty casual and can look pretty crazy. One girl had a huge jumper on, and we found out later that she had nothing under...

So while we were walking around the boat and I was sitting by the side while Angel(a) went to get more food, I saw a bunch of people take pictures with this guy that looked like he was an Asian Jesus and I thought, "Aww poor guy, all these white people want to take pictures with him because he's different." They were right in front of me...

Steve Aioki didn't perform until like 8 pm... Which was when I found out that he was Asian Jesus. Hahaha. Damn, I could've taken a picture with him. Can't believe I missed out!

Overall the concert was fun. I think I just needed to be drunk to handle all those people around me, who were completely wasted or rolling. It's not really my scene, but Aioki was a definite crowd pleaser. We made out way back to Angel(a)'s and I'm going to pass out while she was waiting for the Red Bull sponsored event of the man skydiving from space. Back to Newy tomorrow!

Farewell Dinner and Recovery Day!

I can't believe it's Farewell Dinner already. I feel like it was just last month that we had Commencement Dinner. This dinner, however, was held in City Hall. I had so much to do to prepare for this day that I did not have time to put together a nice outfit and do my hair, but whatever. We all got on a Coach busses to be driven here. I tried not to make the same mistake of getting drunk before this dinner as I did for Commencement Dinner.

We got there around 7 pm and lounged around, taking pictures.

My housmates of 1130!

Block 11!

He loves me! (Photo by Cheryl.)

Some people were already kicked out by this time... Haha... We paid $85 each for this event, and it was obvious that everyone was trying to get the most out of their money. Some people got a little too much for their money... Perfect example...
These two fighting for my love. -_- (Photo by Cheryl.)

The night started out with mingling and dinner, followed by speeches, picture compilation of the semester, and dancing.

With all the drunken festivities, we needed a day to recover. So the next day was Recovery Day!

Ironic because this day was like Auto Day, but more laxed... Brekky in our Block and IH got a slip and slide. Regardless of getting kicked in the head multiple times by Kyle, it was fun. I left early though for my own fun. ;)

Later on the day, the guys went to play FIFA, while we ladies cooked dinner... This is less stereotypical than it sounds... Haha. I wanted to cook the rest of the food I had left before it went bad. We all hung out at 1020 until late.

The night ended like most of the other nights we've been having, with goon and good company. <3
