Lost Wallet

The bus from Paris to London just sucked. Our bus was chosen for a random inspection. Where this dog on crack was made to sniff us and our stuff. Then we had to take a ferry instead of the underground train. I hate ferries, now. Its always so cold, and uncomfortable, but its whatever, because I managed to fall asleep. Then again, I can sleep anywhere now and for hours. Thank god some girl woke me up when we arrived, even though almost everyone was off the ferry by then. I can't believe people were just going to leave me there.

I made friends with a nice girl on the bus though. She is originally from France but works in London. I told her about my experience in Paris, about how no one was really helpful and they seemed rude and snobby. She said she agrees, and told me I should travel to the south of France because they love Americans there. Haha. When we got to London, it was like 5:00 and she said she would help me get an oyster card and tell me where to go. When we were in line for the card, I realized that I had lost my wallet. I bet someone took it on the ferry or I lost it. It was so embarrassing. She was in a hurry so she said it was fine and it was considered her good deed for the day. She said, "Hopefully, this makes up for your bad experience in France and not all French people are bad." I also didn't get her name... I swear there is something wrong with me. Haha.

Anyways, London! The metro wasn't running to the Edgware St. so I took the bus with all my stuff. I think I stopped a too early, and I had to walk down what seemed to be the longest street ever with all my luggage. It was so painful, so I just stopped at Costa to eat breakfast, figure out what I lost, how to get money, and charge my only source of connection with people from home, my iPhone, that I've been using as my computer since mine broke. Thank god I had my license and debit card in a separate wallet for going out! Then I had to wait until it was around 14:00 here so that I can call my parents to see if my new pin number for my debit card came in. It was only 8:00...

Then I decided to suck it up and keep walking. After what seemed to be hours of walking. I finally got to the Pheonix Hostel. Oh my god. It was pretty bad. The beds suck.

The bathroom looks disgusting, too! The sign for it is funny though. Haha.

I guess that's what you get for 10L a night. I was told I couldn't sign in until 14:00. FML. So I just put my stuff down, and fell asleep on the couch in the common room. I woke up around 13:30 and just laid there. I was so tired. One guy came over and told me to get up because this wasn't a homeless shelter. Oh man. I was so mad at that guy. But then he gave me a free pint of cidar. So whatever. Haha. I signed in and went to my room. As I settled in, I met a Canadian girl and German boy traveling together. They were my age and traveling for the summer. They were pretty cool. I called home and got my pin number for my debit card. Its weird, now I have a 6 digit pin number instead of 4. Yeah, international! Now I just have to remember it. I left to buy food and while they went to sleep. When I came back to get something in the room, I walked in on them having sex. -_- Yup. Wonderful. Now I guess I know how Naveen felt in Brugge! Hahaha!

I think I'm just going to eat spaghetti and rest for tonight.
