Day 27

It is Friday night, the first Friday of the semester. Instead of going to the usual fraternity party, I am in my apartment alone watching these movies, and I am happy! I've had these movies in my external for a LONG time but never had a chance to watch them.

Two of my housemates went home for the weekend and let me watch her DVD's. Why not watch it now?!

Jane Austen's Book Club was pretty cheesy, but it was all right. I loved The Young Victoria, though. The love between Queen Victoria and Prince Albert (as portrayed in the movie) was so intense, although I wish there was more development of it. I just love movies about royalty, minus Marie Antoinette, with Kristen Dunst, that was atrocious. Now at 2:30 AM, I am finishing up Emma, and I do not like it. The characters are so annoying. I haven't read the book yet, but from the movie, I think I can say, "This is not one of your best works, Jane."
