So what's at the Red Light District?

Yesterday, after we settled in, we went to eat at an Argentinian restaurant, I think. It was pretty good. Then we walked around exploring Amsterdam and trying to find the Red Light District.

We got lost looking for the Red Light District. -_-

There are a lot of bridges in Amsterdam. Its so quaint.

After walking around for a bit, we met some locals who walked us there. Nice people. They even gave us a little background info of the monuments nearby. We walked around and noticed that people were pretty much smoking weed everywhere. This Asian man, was smoking a blunt, while pushing his daughter in a stroller around town. Haha.

The wall art here is awesome!

We finally reached the Red Light District. This is pretty embarrassing, but I didn't really know what the Red Light District was. I assumed that the "Red Light" part meant, lighting up a joint, but when I walked around, I became pretty sure that not all of Amsterdam was the Red Light District. Haha.

Well, I felt like a pervert because I was taking pictures of everything.

Don't worry guys, I didn't get tempted. Haha. However, I witnessed a girl open her door and bring a guy in, while his friends waited outside... Awkward? Haha.

After exploring a bit, we went to look for an elephant bong. I really wanted one! We found one for 15 euros, but Naveen said we would buy it later, since we could find it everywhere.

Well, we didn't. :(

We went back to the hotel to change and left for a coffee house. Hehe. We got lost again looking for the busy side of town. We finally found a chill place and proceeded to chill. I won't go into to much detail, but we had fun. I wish I chilled more, though. :)

After all that, we tried to look for cheese fries, and we walked EVERYWHERE so freaking Naveen could get his cheddar cheese sauce. In the end, he didn't even like it, and got McDonald's instead, after telling me not to get what we could get in the states. -_-

We walked back to the hotel, and passed out. The next morning, we woke up and got breakfast. Naveen was taking forever, because he thought our bus left an hour later than it really did. So we rushed and caught a taxi to Eurolines.

Amsterdam was lovely and fun! I wish I was there longer. I ruined my streak, though! I wanted to buy a shotglass from every country I went to. I blame Naveen. :(

The ride back to Trinity was 12 hours long. On the ride, this little boy was grilling Naveen big time. Haha.

I told him to grill the baby back, but all he did was smile at the kid. -_- Naveen and I made it back by 23:00. I decided to go to the kebab cart, which today, happens to be their last day there! I went back to my room and told Marissa, Caitlin, and Elizabeth about my weekend. Hahaha.

Now, to sleep and then do my essay!
